Dr. Sohale Sadeghpour

Dr. Sohale Sadeghpour is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with specialized fellowship training in sports medicine, which involves treatment of musculoskeletal injuries through arthroscopic surgery.
A native of Houston, Texas, Dr. Sadeghpour graduated with a Bachelor of Science in cell biology from Tulane University. He earned his medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine in 2010. His education at Tulane continued with completion of an orthopedic surgery residency in 2015. In New Orleans he provided high school football coverage in each of his five years of residency, and on the collegiate level he assisted with coverage of various Tulane sporting events.
His interest in sports medicine led him to Pensacola, Florida where he completed a sports medicine fellowship at the Andrews Research and Education Foundation. As a fellow, he worked alongside world-renowned orthopedic surgeon Dr. James Andrews. This specialized training allowed Dr. Sadeghpour to build on his residency experience with treating athletes, while learning the latest on operative and non-operative means of treating sports injuries. During his fellowship year, he was the team physician for a high school football team and also assisted with covering Auburn University football.
In addition to covering sports medicine injuries, Dr. Sadeghpour treats several general orthopedic conditions.
With his training completed, Dr. Sadeghpour decided to return home for the start of his career. He has been taking care of patients in the Houston area since 2016.
Dr. Sadeghpour is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Arthroscopy Association of North America, and Harris County Medical Society.
